In February 2025, everything changed. My mom, Donna, the woman whose sparkle lit up every room — the one I grew up watching put on her makeup and jewelry like armor — was diagnosed with primary plasma cell leukemia, one of the rarest and most aggressive blood cancers. No warning. No roadmap. Just a fight we never asked for, but refused to lose.

From day one, Mom came in swinging. Even though she wasn’t a candidate for a bone marrow or stem cell transplant, she responded remarkably to Dara-KRD therapy — blowing past expectations, baffling doctors, and proving that miracles aren’t always loud. Sometimes they’re quiet, stubborn, and wearing sparkly earrings.

Her journey became my mission. I wasn’t just a daughter anymore — I became her driver, her advocate, her note-taker, her cheerleader, and her shadow. Every appointment. Every lab. Every late-night fear. Every tiny victory. And somewhere in the middle of that chaos, the idea for HoldHer Spark™ was born.
